Welcome to Teacher’s Registration Council of Nigeria – TRCN preparatory classes by FCES distance learning centers across the nation.
The Council was established by Decree 31 of 1993 (now Act CAP T3 of 2004). Several decades of agitation by professional teachers and other stakeholders for the establishment of a regulatory agency led to the enactment of the Act. TRCN plays a crucial role in ensuring that educators meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism, thereby enhancing the overall education system in the country.
Mission of TRCN
TRCN’s mission is to ensure that every teacher in Nigeria is qualified, certified, and continuously developing their professional skills. This commitment to excellence fosters a vibrant learning environment, empowering teachers to positively impact their students and communities.
